Artbagger is a site where artists can share whats in their bag! Sometimes you see some art you love, and wish you knew what pen they were using for those perfect lines. Here, we collect names, prices and types of everyones favorite art supplies in order to share between fellow artists.
This site is to be an easy webpage for artists to share the specifics of their supplies, and archive their sets. In addition, there is a database that grows based on the most popular/commonly used supplies, which can be filtered by price point, artist level, and simular brands. The goal of Artbagger is to make art more accessible and fun to artists of any skill level, and to spread the joy of sharing our tools of the trade.
I'm simply an artist myself who figured if there are websites dedicated to camera bags or gym bags, surely than can be one for artist's bags. There was never not a time I wanted to ask my favorite artist what paints or brushes they were using in order to replicate their strokes, thus Artbagger was created in order for me to discover and share myself, and with others.
I've dabbled in all the bags myself, from paint to mixed media, there is scarce a medium I haven't tried. My biggest hope with Artbagger is that you too will dip your toes- or brushes- into various modes of art and have fun doing so!
